On average, influencers make $2,970 per month through their Instagram accounts.

We observe that with just between 1k and 10k followers, it’s possible to achieve monthly earnings of $1,420. The correlation between followers and income is positive, meaning that more followers result in higher earnings. With an account of over 1 million followers, one can reach $15,356 per month.

What percentage of influencers earn money depending on the size of their account?

It’s clear that the more followers you have, the more possibilities there are to generate income. Therefore, the lowest percentage is found in influencer accounts with 1k to 10k followers, accounting for approximately 23%.

The highest percentage is found in accounts with 500k to 1M followers, accounting for approximately 69%.

What is their Main Source of Income?

The main source of income refers to promotions agreed upon with brands to advertise products or services, accounting for approximately 40%. The second largest source of income is from promoting their own products created by these influencers. When promoted on Instagram, followers become interested in the specific product and make purchases, constituting about 22% of the total.

The third most important source is affiliate programs, where influencers share URLs leading to websites promoting products, and each time a follower buys a product, the influencer earns a commission, making up approximately 15%. Together, these three sources of income represent 77% of the total.
